Kristin M. Kaminski is the Managing Attorney of Kaminski Law Group and a State Bar of California Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law — a distinction awarded to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional expertise and experience in this highly specialized field.
Kristin focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, including trust administration and probate. She is passionate about helping families protect what matters most, navigate the legal complexities of administering an estate, and minimize unnecessary conflict. Known for her approachable style and practical guidance, Kristin provides personalized, compassionate service tailored to each client’s goals and values.
Licensed in California, Nevada, and Wisconsin, Kristin began her legal career in Nevada in 2011, expanded her practice to Sacramento in 2014, and has been proudly serving the Roseville community since 2017. She has also served as a multistate attorney for families within a national organization, helping them coordinate estate planning across jurisdictions to ensure clarity and consistency.
Kristin also served in the past on the Drafting Committee for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, where she helped refine trust language to reduce ambiguity and enhance clarity under the law. Over the past decade, she has guided hundreds of individuals and families in creating thoughtful, well-structured estate plans that preserve both wealth and family harmony.
Kristin earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2010, where she was on the Dean’s List and completed a notable internship with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps at Pearl Harbor, Hawai‘i. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management with Honors from Alverno College, a nationally recognized Catholic women’s college in Milwaukee.
An active member of the legal community, Kristin is the past chair and a founding member of the Women Lawyers Section and the past secretary of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association. She also serves on the State Bar of California’s Health and Wellness Committee and is a member of the California Lawyers Association, South Placer Estate Planning Council (former Vice President of Marketing), and Sacramento Estate Planning Council. Kristin also serves as a board member for KidsFirst, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and preventing child abuse in Placer County.
Recognized by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business — an honor awarded to no more than five percent of attorneys nationwide — Kristin is also a frequent speaker on estate planning topics for community organizations and professional groups throughout the region.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children and exploring California’s many hidden gems.
